Hi everyone, I am new to this site and was wondering if I could get a better understanding of my Yamaha md4s. I found a second one fairly low priced used and thought I'd get it for a back up... I learned that two of these can be hooked together to use as an 8 track. One being the master and the other a slave. the manual seems to show a midi cord going from one machine to the other. What I was wondering is this, is all I need to be able to do this is get one of these midi cords? also would the 4 tracks on the slave be recorded onto the 4 tracks of the master along with what is plugged into the 4 inputs of the master machine? I hope I was able to explain these questions in enough detail to make sense.. thanks for any help on this issue.... Chuck
