How do you progressively change the pitch lower on an instrument or vocal?

If I have an instrument or vocal and I want it to gradually go down in octave over the period of like 30 seconds is there a way to do this without messing with the tempo or time?

If so, what plugin would I need or how exactly would I do this?

I'm using Adobe Audition.

I found this at Adobe :

In the Editor panel, do either of the following:

To change pitch over time, add keyframes to the yellow envelope line in the center of the waveform display.

Thanks. I've used this before in Premiere, but there's a specific menu for keyframes.
I'm not familiar where in Audition this is located. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.
