So many great musicians and bands that I live but Zep is the hands down favorite. Stupid fanboi story but I got to shake Jimmy’s hand after me and buds stalked him at Indianapolis Hyatt Regency after a Firm show (‘86?). No convo except for getting at the lame line of , “Jimmy Page…I’m a musician too!” as he was cornered in the glass elevator with a girl probably 30 yrs his junior. He still shook my hand though and didn’t snub me

Same here and the history is so awesome, all the way back to little Jimmy being in B/w TV to yardbirds to Zep. Same with Plant and his band and Bonzo and JPJ as a studio keys player. Lightning in a bottle.

I think I picked their worst ever concert to attend. Saw Elton in the same venue a week late and his band made theirs sound like sheet. They were bad that night and I think you have all seen at least clips of that show. .'

I think I have that pleasure. I was in Nuremberg in 1980 about two weeks before Bonham died. Terrible concert.

To summarize, they played about 3-4 songs, Bonham couldn't play and they cancelled the rest of the show. I saw Zeppelin, but not much more.
