I'm trying to get a basic working setup with an AI-2, ADAT, and time code source, but I'm having a problem with the reader in, hopefully someone can help. Specifically I'm trying to recreate the procedure for "time code chase operation" in the AI-2 manual.
I've tried connecting both a MOTU Midi Express XT and a Time Piece II to the AI-2's rdr in jack and then starting the stripe on those, but the ref LED on the AI-2 never goes solid to indicate it's receiving valid time code, the LED just blinks in error.
I've tried various permutations of code types in both the AI-2 and the MOTUs. I can list specifics and other details if they might seem helpful.
