worms

no need for sound
it is all in my head
instead
two plus two
over again
thanks for that
the pulse
the force of course
the push
rare friendly touch carries us on to the next thing
cool blue skyes
in your eyes i see a warm honest knowing
you see it in me
we clutch.
feel the warmth
enjoy us
lay together like worms
entangled and engorged
wrangled and loved
we kept the moment true
we know now
wriggle slow
all touching
love

When I was a kid I used to catch night crawlers. Take a flash light after it got dark and search under bushes.
Then the next day, sell them to the bait store guy for a penny a piece.
Sometimes I'd catch two at once as they were copulating.
Strange thing that. The two worms would be partially in separate holes, and partially out in order to mate.
I would get two for one in that case.
That thought was with me last night, so I thought, ok, here's a nugget to explore.
